General Terms and Conditions
- Scope
The following General Terms and Conditions apply to all orders placed by consumers and businesses via our online shop.
A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly outside their trade, business or profession. A business is a natural or legal person or a partnership with legal capacity that, when entering into a legal transaction, acts in the exercise of its trade, business or profession.
The following applies to businesses: If the business uses conflicting or supplementary General Terms and Conditions, their applicability is hereby rejected; they shall only become part of the contract if we have expressly agreed to them.
- Contracting party, conclusion of contract,
correction options
The purchase contract is concluded with myebikes.com GmbH.
The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but an invitation to place an order. You may initially place our products in the shopping basket without obligation and correct your entries at any time before submitting your binding order, using the correction tools provided and explained for this purpose during the ordering process. By clicking the order button, you submit a binding offer for the goods contained in the shopping basket. Confirmation that we have received your order will be sent by email immediately after you submit it.
We accept your offer within two days by
- sending a declaration of acceptance in a separate email, or
- arranging for the goods to be delivered, or
- where applicable, having the payment transaction carried out by our service provider or the selected payment service provider. The time at which the payment transaction is carried out depends on the payment method selected (see “Payment”).
The applicable option for you depends on which of the events listed above occurs first.

Language(s) available for concluding the contract: German
We store the contract text and send you the order details and our General Terms and Conditions in
text form. For security reasons, the contract text is no longer accessible via the internet.
- Delivery terms
Shipping costs
Shipping costs may be added to the prices shown. Further
details of any shipping costs that may apply can be found in the offers.
Delivery options
We ship the products to the delivery address specified during the ordering process.
We deliver by shipping only. Unfortunately, collection of the goods in person is not possible.
We do not deliver to parcel lockers.
- Payment
The following payment methods are generally available in our shop:
Installment payment via Klarna (Slice it)
Installment payment is a financing service provided by Klarna, available for orders on myebikes.com. With this installment plan, you can flexibly pay the total amount in monthly installments; further information about “Klarna installment payments,” including the General Terms and Conditions for “Klarna installment payments” and the European Standard Information on Consumer Credit, will be provided by Klarna before you complete your order.
Credit card
You enter your credit card details during the ordering process. Your card will be charged immediately after you place your order.
SEPA Direct Debit
By placing your order, you grant us a SEPA direct debit mandate. We will notify you of the date on which your account will be debited at least one banking business day in advance (known as pre-notification). A banking business day is any weekday other than Saturdays, nationwide public holidays, and 24 and 31 December of each year. Your account will be debited before the goods are shipped.
PayPal
To pay the invoice amount via the payment service provider PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A, 22-24 Boulevard Royal, L-2449 Luxembourg (“PayPal”), you must be registered with PayPal, authenticate yourself using your login details and confirm the payment instruction. PayPal will carry out the payment transaction immediately after you place your order. Further information will be provided during the ordering process.
PayPal may offer registered PayPal customers selected according to its own criteria additional payment methods in their customer accounts. However, we have no influence over the availability of these methods; any additional payment methods offered individually concern your legal relationship with PayPal. For further information, please refer to your PayPal account.
- Right of withdrawal
Consumers are entitled to the statutory right of withdrawal as described in the withdrawal notice. Businesses are not granted a voluntary right of withdrawal.
- Retention of title
The goods remain our property until payment has been made in full.
The following additionally applies to businesses: We retain title to the goods until all claims arising from an ongoing business relationship have been settled in full. You may resell the goods subject to retention of title in the ordinary course of business; you hereby assign to us in advance all claims arising from such resale, irrespective of whether the goods subject to retention of title are combined or mixed with a new item, up to the amount of the invoice, and we accept this assignment. You remain authorised to collect the claims; however, we may also collect them ourselves if you fail to meet your payment obligations.
- Transport damage
The following applies to consumers: If goods are delivered with obvious transport damage, please report such defects to the delivery driver as soon as possible and contact us immediately. Failure to report the damage or contact us has no consequences for your statutory rights and their enforcement, in particular your warranty rights. However, you help us to assert our own claims against the carrier or transport insurer.
The following applies to businesses: The risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration passes to you as soon as we have handed the goods over to the forwarding agent, carrier or other person or organisation designated to carry out the shipment.
- Warranty and guarantees
9.1 Liability for defects
Statutory liability for defects applies.
9.2 Guarantees and customer service
Information about any additional guarantees that may apply and their exact terms can be found with each product and on dedicated information pages in the online shop.

- LIABILITY
We shall be liable without limitation for claims arising from damage caused by us, our legal representatives or agents
- in the event of injury to life, limb or health,
- in the event of intentional or grossly negligent breach of duty,
- under any guarantee given, where agreed, or
- where the scope of the Product Liability Act applies.
In the event of a slightly negligent breach by us, our legal representatives or agents of material contractual obligations, the fulfilment of which is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on which the contractual partner may regularly rely (cardinal obligations), liability shall be limited in amount to the damage foreseeable at the time the contract was concluded and typically expected to occur.
All other claims for damages are excluded.
- Dispute resolution
The European Commission provides a platform for online dispute resolution (ODR), which you can find here. We are neither obliged nor willing to participate in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
